Book cover comments and pseudonym
Thank you to those for their valuable comments. Things I plan to change:
Remove 'love' from the heart in the title
Change 'retired elementary school teacher to 'retired educator'
Make the woman older (Hopefully Murshidi can do some photo shop magic or I'll have to find a new photo. I hope not. I like this one a lot. Can't find any as good as it.
I've come up with A. Maria Harcas. (Maria is my middle name and Harcas is a combination of my maiden and marriage name.
I'd love your comments on # 4. BTW, I have checked online and it doesn't appear to be used already. But I am consulting with the Writers Guild of which I am a member, just to be certain.
HI, all
Here is my latest book cover image for Miranda. As you can see I added a subtitle and have tweaked a few things but I could still use your input. My thought after receiving the update was that the bio should be further cut, ending with '.....starting over later in life....' and the rest of it possibly being added to an extended bio on the inside page.
My other thought would be to leave the bio's end intact but just remove my mention of the title and subtitle in the beginning (new sentence: Her author journey took a new direction with this novel which began as a short story and evolved into a full-length book exploring the challenges and triumphs of starting over later in life.
I also think the subtitle should not be broken up like it is; the entire subtitle, Strength, Love, and Second Chances--A Feminist's Journey to Rediscovery should be at the bottom under the main title, Miranda. (A Feminist's Journey to Rediscovery being the third line at the bottom, if it can be done without crowding.
These are my thoughts. What do you think?
