Why I’m Switching Back to My Real Name: Sakshi

If you’ve known me as Naira, you might be wondering why I suddenly updated my name on different platforms. Well, here’s the backstory!

A while ago, one of my U.S.-based clients found my real name, Sakshi, a little tricky to pronounce. To make communication smoother, they suggested using another name and that’s how Naira came into the picture. It was a convenient choice at the time, and I rolled with it across different professional spaces.

But recently, I found myself managing two identities, one as Naira and the other as Sakshi which led to a lot of confusion. Having two names across different platforms made things unnecessarily complicated, both for myself and for the people I work with.

So, I’ve made the decision to go back to my real name, Sakshi, everywhere, including for my overseas clients. This is the name my family gave me, and it truly represents who…

Hi everyone, I'm Lestie Zachary. I incorporated my maiden name into my author name. I'm officially Lestie May Zachary. I have published two books since connecting with April. Hello! From Middle-Earth in the U.K.!

Hello everyone! My name is Lesley Thomas. My author's name is Safari Thomas and I am already a self-published author looking forward to being part of April’s workgroup with my second book.

I am a wild about animals, nature, and our incredible planet. I was born in JRR Tolkien's ‘Middle-earth’, in the U.K., where I found my calling to write after navigating the challenging terrain of a Law Degree (with Honours) to become a lawyer. I have since jumped out of law (semi-retirement) to become a full-time children’s book author. (Still a long way to go!)

My passion lies in empowering kids to connect with the environment and fostering a sense of superhero-like agency in the realm of conservation. My mission is to sprinkle a bit of magic and adventure into the hearts of both young and old 'human folk.' My stories aren't just tales—they're a gateway to building empathy for…

A Brief Biography

Hello. My name is Jason R. Abdale. I have a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in history, both of which I received at CUNY Queens College in 2008 and 2009 respectively.

I am a professional historian as well as a published writer and artist. My first book "Four Days in September: The Battle of Teutoburg" was originally self-published in 2013, but was later re-published as an updated 2nd Edition by Pen & Sword Books in 2016. My second book is "The Great Illyrian Revolt: Rome's Forgotten War in the Balkans, AD 6-9", also published by Pen & Sword Books, and was released in 2019. I am now transitioning to writing historical fiction.

In addition to my two history books, I also have a web blog "Dinosaurs and Barbarians" where I post articles and artwork concerning paleontology and history.

Kindly check out my pages on Redbubble and Fine Art America…

Welcome, Jason.

I am a retired elementary school teacher of 29 years with a Masters in Education and a focus in Reading. I enjoy writing children's books. I love going through the personal editing of my own book before I send it out to the developmental editor. I play with my words until they sing! I love animals and the majority of my characters are personified.

Welcome, Victoria.

Hello All. My name is Sherilyn Adler. I'm a developmental psychologist who serves as executive director of Ear Peace Save Your Hearing Foundation, an educational nonprofit. April also helped me and my co-author get our first children's book, 'HearO Saves the Day! An Adventure in Music, Health, and Hearing Protection, published. It's an adventure story intended to educate young children (3-8) and the adults who care about them (families, educators, teachers, professionals, etc.) about noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) and the simple steps that can be taken to ensure life-long healthy hearing. We are currently in the process of having our 10"x10" hardcover offset printed and hope to learn more about sales, marketing, and outreach. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Hi Sherilyn. It's good to see you back with the group.

Hello, I'm Andrea Harrison and overjoyed to be working with April again to self-publish my second book, an adult romance novel titled "Miranda". My first was a children's environmental story about the importance of protecting the ocean. Although "The Selfish Shellfish and the Sick Sea" will always be my first baby, I'm so excited about this next endeavor.

I look forward to continuing to learn and grow as an author.

Hello Everyone!

My journey in the author world started with April in June of 2023 and ever since, I've learned and grown more than could have been imagined. I've had the honor of being added to the SPMS team and am available to help answer questions at any time. If not, I'll point you in the right direction. Please feel free to reach out.

I retired from the business world after 35 years and reside in Maryland with my family (including two special furry cuties - Max and Leo). My 2nd book (My Friend Kingston) is currently being launched... the 3rd (Meet The Chips) is up next.

The 90 Day Way is an amazing program and it will be my pleasure to share in your journey!
