With a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a background in education and children’s mental health, Krystal is able to look at a child’s difficult situation from a professional—and parental—lens and form adventure stories that can be therapeutic and aid in navigating scary experiences. She thinks that a great children’s book can make children think creatively and take fun, silly situations and apply them to real-life difficult events in order to persevere. Stories can empower children to feel in control, brave, and strong.

Krystal has completed a successful Kickstarter and has stepped outside her comfort zone more than once. The meeting will inspire and engage you to believe in yourself. You can do the same!
